Community Policing Committees are not-for-profit volunteer organization. Malahide Community Policing Committee is funded through Malahide Township working in cooperation with/and guidance/interaction by/with the Elgin County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police. The committee is composed of volunteers and an officer from the Ontario Provincial Police acting as a Community Liaison Officer.
