Community Policing
Community Policing Committees are not-for-profit volunteer organization. Malahide Community Policing Committee is funded through Malahide Township working in cooperation with/and guidance/interaction by/with the Elgin County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police. The committee is composed of volunteers and an officer from the Ontario Provincial Police acting as a Community Liaison Officer. - Mission Statement
To create and maintain partnerships with OPP, citizens, community groups and businesses through the sharing of ideas, addressing issues of common concerns and the delivery of programs, in order to preserve and enhance the quality of life and safety in the community.
